There are certain things we reach for without thinking.
The mug that's always at the front of the cupboard.
The cardigan draped over the back of a chair.
The playlist that somehow fits every mood.
The perfume that feels more like home than fragrance.
We don't choose these things because they're the newest or the most impressive. We choose them because they've quietly become part of our lives.
I've realised jewellery is no different.
When I look back, the pieces I've loved most were never the ones I saved for special occasions. They were the ones I wore on ordinary Tuesdays. To work. To dinner with friends. On weekend walks. They became part of my routine long before I noticed they had become part of me.
I think we often believe beautiful things need an occasion.
A wedding.
A holiday.
A celebration.
But most of life isn't made up of those moments.
Most of life is made up of mornings that begin with making coffee. Commuting to work. Catching up with a friend. Folding laundry. Picking up groceries. Sitting at a desk. Coming home.
They're ordinary moments.
And yet, they're the moments that become our lives.
That's why I started Esterah.
I wanted jewellery that felt easy to return to. Pieces I could put on almost without thinking. Comfortable enough to wear all day. Simple enough to work with everything else I owned. Beautiful enough that I never felt the need to save them for "one day."
Not jewellery that asked to be noticed.
Jewellery that quietly belonged.
I love the idea of building a collection slowly. Not chasing every trend or filling a jewellery box overnight, but choosing pieces that earn their place over time. The kind you reach for so often that they begin to feel less like accessories and more like part of your everyday.
To me, that's what makes something truly beautiful.
Not that it sits untouched in a box.
But that it lives with you.
As Esterah grows, I hope that's what it becomes for you. A collection of pieces you return to, season after season, without having to think twice. Pieces that fit naturally into your mornings, your routines, and the life you're already living.
Because sometimes the things that stay with us the longest are the ones we never had to think about in the first place.
