Here, we’ve used a full 1 micron of 18k gold plating. While gold-plated jewellery often gets a thinner layer of just 0.5 microns, 1-micron gold plating will maintain its finish for far longer.

Under the gold plating is resilient 925 sterling silver, the standard for fine silver jewellery that endures.

We love sterling silver for its laid-back lustre. It’s brighter than white gold and also far more accessible.

Plus, silver is the lightest weight of the white metals, which means you can wear sterling silver without worry.

In its pure form, silver is too soft to be used in jewellery, which is why jewellers mix silver with stronger metals. The standard for fine silver jewellery is 92.5% pure silver, or 925 sterling silver.
